NABS Events Terms and Conditions

Your attendance at and our provision of the Event is subject to: (i) specific written details of the Event, including its date, venue and payment terms (“Event Details”); and (ii) these terms and conditions.
Payment
- You agree to make payment for the Event in accordance with the Event Details or as otherwise agreed between the parties.
- The agreement relating to this Event is between NABS and the party paying for your attendance at the Event.
Booking and Cancellation
- Please note that we are unable to offer refunds if you cancel within 90 days of the event.
- Please note that in relation to Events that involve team competitions, in the event of your team withdrawing from the competition within 90 days of the Event, we will make every endeavour to help you find a substitute team but regret we may be unable to offer a refund after this date.
- You understand that you are required to pay the relevant entry fee to secure your place at the Event.
- If NABS cancels the event we will make a full refund. If however, it is not possible for the Event to take place due to a Force Majeure* Event NABS will endeavour to offer a full refund less any irrecoverable costs incurred.
- NABS will not have any liability to you whatsoever for loss or expenses incurred in connection with the Event or any cancellation of the Event, including, without limitation, costs of any personal travel, accommodation or hospitality arrangements made relating to the Event or the cancellation of the Event
Responsibility for Damage and Behaviour
- You agree to act responsibly and sensibly at the Event and to respect the property of NABS, any of our sub-contractors and/or the venue owner. If you purposefully cause any damage to the property of NABS, another guest or the venue you understand you will be responsible to replace items or make good the damage caused and/or indemnify NABS for any loss, costs or expenses incurred.
- NABS will not tolerate rude or abusive language or the threat or use of violence towards its staff or other attendees. Any individuals demonstrating the aforementioned behaviour will be asked to leave the event.
Intellectual property/Data Protection
- You understand and consent to the fact that photographs, film footage may be taken of you and others during the event and these may be used in NABS publicity materials in advertising, marketing, online and print and general communications.
- We will contact you by telephone and/or email with reference to your booking. We will keep you up to date about the event via regular emails and/or by phone. Occasionally we may write to you
Disclaimer
- NABS shall not be liable for the acts or omissions of the operators of the Venue for any personal injury suffered at the venue (unless due to the act or omissions of NABS) or any loss, theft or damage to your property at the venue (unless due to the act or omissions of NABS). + Limitation of Liability wording.
Termination
- NABS reserves the right to prevent your entry to the Event or to require you to leave the Event if you have not made the relevant payment by the due date or you are otherwise in breach of this Agreement
Agreement
- The relevant legal agreement relating to the Event comprises (i) the Event Details (if any) and (ii) these Terms and Conditions. This Agreement can only be varied by the parties in writing. Any failure or delay by either party to take legal action against the other shall not constitute a waiver of its legal rights.
Governing Law/Jurisdiction
- The parties agree that all matters arising out of or in connection with this Agreement and/or the Event shall be governed by English law and the parties agree to the English courts having exclusive jurisdiction to hear all disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement and/or the Event.
*A Force Majeure event means an event beyond the reasonable control of NABS. Including but not limited to industrial disputes, lock-outs, failure of utility service or transport network, an act of God, war, riot, civil commotion, epidemic, death of a Monarch, malicious damage, compliance with any law or government order, rule, regulation or direction, accident, breakdown of plant or machinery, fire, flood or storm

- Except for the payment of a full refund to you in the event that the Event is cancelled for any reason, NABS will not have any liability to you whatsoever for loss or expenses incurred in connection with the Event or any cancellation of the Event, including, without limitation, costs of any personal travel, accommodation or hospitality arrangements made relating to the Event or the cancellation of the Event.
