NABS is the charity at the heart of the advertising, media and marketing community.

We are dedicated to advancing mental wellness in our community – through the good times and the tough times, we’re here to support people, both professionally and personally.

We do this by

1. Connecting people and communities across the industry to network, learn, and drive change.

2. Developing the skills and mindsets essential for thriving in the industry.

3. Supporting individuals with assistance and guidance to maintain balance, beginning with our Advice Line. Our team offers compassionate chats, expert guidance, and tailored information to address both work and life challenges.

Our organisational values are: accessible, collaborative, empowering, heartfelt support, impartial, and valuing equality and diversity.

NABS is a registered charity: Charity registration number 1070556

Having launched a brand-new commercial offer to the industry in 2021, we have recently added therapist-led psychoeducation group sessions to our suite of packages for companies to buy in for their staff. All profits from this activity will go straight back into our charity, offering further benefit for the wider industry.

To support NABS in offering psychoeducational, therapist-led group sessions to our community, through product development, delivery, and support with capacity building, where needed. This work will span both NABS charity and the developing commercial offer.

The product content will be underpinned by NABS mission to Advance Mental Wellness in our industry and session topics will be informed by NABS’ insight coupled with your expertise and knowledge.

Core outputs will primarily focus on:

Product development: collaborate with the Wellbeing Services Team (ie The Support and the Learning & Development Teams) to design, write and deliver content for new psychoeducational, therapist-led group sessions for our clients which focus on subjects related to advancing mental wellness

Delivery: psychoeducational sessions delivered online or in person to varying groups from the industry including those from with one organisation, from across multiple organisations or those out of work.

Session write ups: frameworks for therapist-led sessions are produced to ensure any associate therapists can effectively deliver these products on-going

Capacity building: consulting with the Head of L&D as they develop and implement strategies and processes to potentially build team capacity and manage resource efficiently in line with evolving demand.

– All products are grounded in a strong evidence base, e.g. psychology, neuroscience or learning theory and underpinned by the latest research

– Session frameworks have clearly defined objectives and are stimulating yet realistic in terms of pace and complexity (according to intended audience and delivery model)

– The design, look and feel of products reflects NABS’ quality expectations
