What we will cover:
- Understanding Feedback
- Feedback Framework
- Interactive practice
- Creating a Feedback Culture
Together we will establish the basis for constructive communication, emphasising respect, honesty, and confidentiality. We will explore the different types of feedback (e.g., positive, constructive, specific) and their respective purposes. Discuss the importance of timely feedback and its impact on individual and team performance and address common misconceptions about feedback, such as the fear of giving or receiving it, and strategies for overcoming these barriers.
By introducing a structured feedback framework, you can use this as a guide for delivering feedback effectively. The role of managers in creating a culture of feedback within their teams and organisations is essential for creating a safe and open environment.
This session will support managers in becoming more adept at giving and receiving effective feedback, ultimately leading to improved communication, stronger relationships, and enhanced performance within the organisation.
