Connect: Making Sense of Grief

  • Location: Online
  • Type: Workshop
  • Date: 29/01/2025
  • Time: 12pm-1:30pm

Grief is a deeply personal and often complex experience, touching every part of our lives. In this supportive session, we’ll come together to explore what grief looks like, feels like, and how we can live with it—whether you’re grieving yourself or supporting someone who is.

Through guided discussions, reflective exercises, and shared experiences, we’ll work to build a deeper understanding of grief and discover ways to navigate its challenges. Together, we’ll create a space for learning, growth, and connection as we explore how grief shows up in daily life and how to cope with its impact.

What you’ll gain from this session:

  • A better understanding of grief, including its physiological, psychological, and emotional dimensions.
  • Insight into how grief manifests in daily life, including anticipatory grief and its many forms.
  • Practical strategies and tools—such as relaxation techniques and mindfulness practices—to help manage the challenges of grief.
  • A chance to connect with others in a non-judgmental, compassionate space where shared experiences can foster understanding and support.

Join experienced therapists in this structured and reflective session designed to help you make sense of grief, develop coping skills, and find connection in what can feel like an isolating experience.

Being able to recognise when we ourselves need support is incredibly important.
