Why is it so important for NABS to tackle mental wellness in the industry?
The Ad Association “ALL IN” census highlights why mental wellness is critical in adland, with 1 in 5 respondents reporting a mental health condition. Our whole industry is based on creativity and that is something that can be compromised under pressure. Tight deadlines, pitch cycles, public scrutiny and constant change are all factors that increase the chances of burnout and anxiety. Tackling mental wellness proactively with training, an open culture and partners like NABS for confidential counselling, advice and coaching keep people healthy and the work effective.
