How to set up a Just Giving page
Just Giving is a popular and easy way of collection donations when fundraising for NABS. Follow our step by step guide.
How to set up a Just Giving page for your NABS fundraiser
1. Start from the NABS Just Giving page
First of all, visit https://www.justgiving.com/charity/nabs
Click “Start Fundraising” on the right hand side to link your fundraising activity to NABS.
You’ll be asked if you’re fundraising in memory of someone. For this example, we are selecting ‘no’, but if that’s appropriate for you, select ‘yes’ and follow the same steps below.
2. Choose what type of fundraising you are doing
- If it’s your own fundraising idea, like a quiz or bake sale, choose “Doing my own activity”
- If it’s a NABS-organised event (such as our Walk and Talk event), then select “I’m taking part in an event” and scroll until your find the NABS event you are taking part in
- If you are simply asking for donations to the NABS cause, and there is no fundraising activity, you can choose ‘Just Fundraising’
3. Create your page – add pictures and content
Following the JustGiving steps to:
- Add some details from the drop-down menu about the type of fundraiser you are doing
- Choose the date
- Add your fundraiser name and your fundraising target
- Tell your story about why you’re supporting NABS (Tip: there’s some helpful information you can copy and paste in the NABS Fundraising Guide)
- Add photos
4. For team activities
- Individuals create their own pages first
- Then group them into a team page if you’re fundraising together
5. Share your page!
- Send it to colleagues, friends and clients
- Add it to internal comms, socials, event pages
- Tag NABS on social media!
