NABS EVENTS – GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Agreement

1.1 The agreement relating to this Event is between NABS and the party paying for your attendance at the Event.
1.2 This Agreement can only be varied by the parties in writing. Any failure or delay by either party to take legal action against the other shall not constitute a waiver of its legal rights.
1.3 Your attendance at and our provision of the Event is subject to these terms and conditions.
1.4 All individuals taking part agree to take full responsibility, and reimburse the venue, for the cost of repair arising from any damage to the property, contents or course and grounds caused negligently by themselves.
1.5 NABS reserves the right to prevent your entry to the Event or to require you to leave the Event if you have not made the relevant payment by the due date or you are otherwise in breach of these terms & conditions.

2. Booking and Cancellation

2.1 A provisional booking is made on completion and submission of a booking form, this becomes confirmed once payment is received.
2.2 You may cancel your ticket if you are not within 45 days of the event.
2.3 Please note that we are unable to offer refunds if you cancel within 45 days of the event.
2.4 If the Event is cancelled NABS will not have any liability to you for loss or expenses incurred in connection with the Event, including, without limitation, costs of any personal travel, accommodation or hospitality arrangements made relating to the Event.
2.5 Should the event be cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions from the Government, you will be able to transfer your booking to a new scheduled date.

3. Payment

3.1 On receipt of your booking form you will be sent an invoice. You are required to pay the entry fee to secure your place at the Event.
3.2 If you have opted to fundraise a minimum of £175 for an individual or £2, 000 for a group and do not reach this target, you will still be liable to pay the remaining amount.
3.3 We ask that your fundraising totals are reached by 31 December 2026.

4. Intellectual property/Data Protection

4.1 You understand and consent to the fact that photographs, film footage may be taken of you and others during the event and these may be used in NABS publicity materials in advertising, marketing, online and print and general communications.
4.2 We will contact you by telephone and/or email with reference to your booking. We will keep you up to date about the event via regular emails and/or by phone. Occasionally we may write to you.

5. Disclaimer

5.1 NABS shall not be liable for the acts or omissions of the operators of the Venue for any personal injury suffered at the venue (unless due to the act or omissions of NABS) or any loss, theft or damage to your property at the venue (unless due to the act or omissions of NABS).

6. GDPR

6.1 In compliance with GDPR, NABS will not use or share the below Confidential Information for anything except for the purpose of the event. This includes being the day-to-day contact in the lead up to the event.
