The Big Bash is back – and heading to Manchester
NABS’ legendary annual party is set to return in Manchester this autumn to delight adland’s partygoers, taking the place of the Fashion Show.
After two decades, NABS’ Big Bash is making its return — and it’s ready to delight a whole new generation of partygoers.
A much-loved fixture of the early 2000s event calendar, the original Big Bash brought together around 800 people each year in London for a glamorous night of entertainment, connection and fundraising. It quickly earned its place as a true heritage moment on the industry party circuit.
Now, twenty years on, the Big Bash returns with a fresh twist.
A new chapter in Manchester
This autumn, the Big Bash finds a new home in Manchester. Join us at the iconic The Midland Hotel on Friday 2 October, from midday and into the evening, for a celebration full of energy, joy and purpose.
The revitalised Big Bash takes the place of the NABS Fashion Show, which proudly brought together the Manchester industry and beyond for 20 years. This evolution reflects the changing shape of our industry — and our commitment to creating events that feel relevant, inclusive and exciting.
Cabaret, community and a cause
This year’s theme is cabaret, with the fabulous The Globe Girls hosting the festivities. Expect sparkle, entertainment and plenty of opportunity to celebrate together.
We’ll welcome 350 guests for an unforgettable afternoon and evening — all in support of mental wellness across our industry.
As Kate Harris, Regional Director at NABS, puts it:
“The original Big Bash was a massive party, and our Manchester guests love to party. That’s why we’re bringing back our much-loved format, sprinkled with a fresh perspective, and filled with joy and celebration.
We’re going to have a great time, together, all to raise funds for our industry’s mental wellness.”
Join us
The Big Bash is more than a party — it’s a chance to reconnect, celebrate and support the wellbeing of the people who power our industry.
