Explore: Holding Safe Spaces

Build teams where people can bring their whole selves, and feel safe doing so.
In times of ongoing change—both globally and within our organisations—psychological safety is more than a buzzword. It’s a foundation for trust, connection, and meaningful work. And it starts with us, as managers.
This session is for managers at every level who want to build confidence in holding space for others, while also caring for their own boundaries and wellbeing.
In this coach-led discussion, together we will:
✅ Learn from someone who holds space regularly, and brings insight into empathetic leadership and real-world challenges
✅ Understand what psychological safety actually looks like day-to-day, and how to embed it in your team culture
✅ Explore your own boundaries – when to bring in support from elsewhere
✅ Develop active listening skills, tuning into what isn’t being said and understanding your teams signs
✅ Discover practical coaching strategies you can apply right away, helping you lead with care and clarity
This is a space to reflect, learn, and connect with fellow managers who are on the same journey—building teams where people can bring their whole selves, and feel safe doing so.
What to expect:
This isn’t a webinar – it’s a hands-on, engaging session where participation is key. We encourage you to turn your camera on, contribute, and make the most of this learning experience. The more you put in, the more you will get out of it.
Being able to recognise when we ourselves need support is incredibly important. If you would like help now, please give us a call on 0800 707 6607 between 9am – 5.30pm or email support@nabs.org.uk for tailored advice and guidance from one of our compassionate Support Team.
