NABS has launched a “Yay List” to recognise and thank the donors that support the charity.

In partnership with Campaign and inspired by the latter’s A List, the “Yay List” will make its debut in December and recognise “the most generous, caring and compassionate companies in the industry”.

The initiative was announced at the Stranger than Summer fundraising gala, which was attended by 875 people and raised £153,000 towards improving mental welllness in adland.

So far this year, the NABS Advice Line has taken 2,200 calls from adlanders in need. The proportion of those calls relating to emotional support has risen to 40%, compared with 33% this time last year.

This year’s total raised will help NABS to carry out its vital work as demand for its services continues to increase.

The event was hosted by Chris Maples, an industry stalwart and entertainer. Faker Maker, the Oasis tribute band, delighted partygoers on the dancefloor, as did DJs Discoheads.

Gold partners were Channel Factory and Active International while the raffle sponsor was Astus.

This is not just Santa’s nice list, it's Santa’s very, very, very nice list. There are so many people who need a helping hand, but if we are going to give them that, we need donors to give us one first. Say yay to NABS, donate and get on the only list that anyone who is anyone will want to be on this year.

We’re so appreciative of adland’s huge support for Stranger than Summer and NABS. The party was a perfect way for us to come together as a community and to celebrate everybody who supports our mission to advance the mental wellness of our industry.
