Humans have basic core needs, physical and emotional, that need to be met in order to thrive.  When we feel emotionally fulfilled and operate effectively within society we are more likely to be content, stable and mentally healthy.  When our physical and emotional needs are not met our lives become out of balance and unnecessary stress, anxiety and depression can arise.

Join Julie Johnson to take a look at the latest psychological and neurological evidence around emotional wellbeing.  In this session we will define what physical and emotional wellbeing is and provide the tools to carry out an emotional and mental health checklist to assess what could be adjusted to rebalance your life. Learn how to enhance your daily wellbeing as a working parent and where to turn for support.

Julie is a highly respected child, adolescent and family psychotherapist and parent coach.   She has over 20 years of experience as a school therapist at secondary school level, runs a private child, adolescent and family counselling service and is a qualified Systemic Therapist and Human Givens Psychotherapist.  Her experience and qualifications make Julie uniquely placed to talk about these issues in an ever-changing world. She works regularly with a number of leading Independent Schools advising on policy and providing staff training and support on key issues such as bullying, child protection, drugs and sex education.   More recently she has been working in the area of Mindfulness running sessions for children and adolescents both within schools and privately.
