NABS Talks: The power of personal brand at work for people of colour

  • Location: Online
  • Type: NABS Talks
  • Date: 12/11/2020
  • Time: 9:30am - 11:00am

Please note: This is an online, interactive workshop specifically for people of colour.

Building a powerful personal brand is about taking the best of who you are, what you stand for and how you do things differently and using it to stand out, speak up and get noticed for what you do brilliantly.   For most people, it’s a useful asset – but if you’re from an underrepresented community, it’s a workplace must.

Join Collette Philip, Founder of ‘Brand by Me’ and learn how to develop a strong personal brand and why it’s so important for people of colour in the workplace.  You’ll explore how having a clear personal brand can help you tackle common workplace challenges.  We’ll focus on how to articulate who you are and what you stand for so you can consistently be your best authentic self and develop your leadership style. No more code-switching or covering – by the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with practical tips that you can immediately embed at a work and beyond.

Collette Philip runs award-winning brand and strategy consultancy, Brand By Me, building brands that drive social change and positive business impact.
