Meditation & Sound Therapy for Deep Relaxation

It’s natural to feel stressed, anxious and overwhelmed at this moment in time. That’s why we’re holding a guided meditation and sound bath: to give you an hour of indulgence where you can step away from the day-to-day and come into deep relaxation.

 

What is a sound bath?

In a sound bath, the facilitator uses a range of instruments, including metal and crystal bowls, known as ‘singing bowls.’  When played, these instruments vibrate and produce sound.

The vibrations of the sounds played interact with the vibrations of the physical body, as well as its energy centres, and can even support the regulation of our brainwaves.  This can induce deep states of relaxation and promote the body’s natural healing capabilities.

 

Is there anything I need to prepare?

 The session will be held on Zoom and you can listen to through your computer, tablet or mobile.  Headphones may be preferable if you are in a noisy environment.  You also want to make sure that you won’t be interrupted during the session.  Other than that, all that’s needed is for you to find a place where you can comfortably relax for an hour.  You may want to have pillows or blankets with you.

 

The session will be facilitated by Sound Therapist and Holistic Life Coach, Priya Datta.  She creates transformative experiences for individuals and groups alike, by using a powerful combination of tools that are influenced by ancient teachings & backed by the latest findings in modern neuroscience.

Priya was first drawn to sound therapy when she experienced, first-hand, how the sound helped to cut through her overactive mind and generate a deep state of stillness.  She finds it a gentle, yet powerful, modality and has seen how it has helped her clients with a breadth of challenges, from stress and anxiety through to very specific physical ailments.

Outside of sound therapy, Priya provides holistic, trauma-informed life coaching to support gentle, yet deep, transformation.  Using tools such as parts work, meditation and breathwork, she guides clients to transform the deep, subconscious patterns that stop them from living a life of love, flow & joy.
