Connect: Redundancy & Organisational Change

  • Location: Online
  • Type: Workshop
  • Date: 27/02/2024
  • Time: 12pm-1:30pm

A safe and interactive therapist-led session for anyone who is experiencing a mix of emotions from frustration, betrayal and isolation to grief, anger and uncertainty following the impact of redundancies and organisational change.

Are you guiding staff through the process or being moved on right now? Are you still feeling the fall-out of a past redundancy or have been left behind to run the business? How are we expected to retain our sense of self when our confidence and trust are impacted?

And as a manager, even though we may understand the business objectives, we may also experience some discomfort and guilt around the decisions being made to achieve them.

No matter how you’re involved in a redundancy process or organisational change, moving through the transition can be tough. Looking after our mental wellness and others during this time, in small and manageable ways, is really important.

In this session, we will:

  • be in a shared online safe space, gaining insight & understanding from each other
  • be guided by a therapist who is acclimatised to the experience of navigating change, all the emotions that can go with it and any lasting impact
  • engage in a processing experience that might help us transition through change
  • leave with some trusted self-care tools

Being able to recognise when we ourselves need support is incredibly important, If you would like help, please give us a call on 0800 707 6607 between 9am – 5.30pm or email support@nabs.org.uk for tailored advice and guidance.
