Job Purpose

To ensure that NABS thrives as an organisation that supports the wellbeing of those working within the advertising and media industry by:

  • Lead on wellbeing services projects including internal culture change and talent projects
  • Lead on implementing and maintaining a consistent and appropriate level of service evaluation so impact & value is assessed, standards are monitored and constantly improved
  • Ensuring the efficiency of all services systems and processes

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Project management of Services Team projects including but not limited to; Reimagination, new product development, culture change and talent and relevant external partnerships and initiatives (e.g. WACL Future Leaders Award and timeTo)
    • Creation, maintenance and review of relevant project documentation, revising where appropriate to meet the changing needs, demands and requirements
    • Responsibility for deadlines, target achievement and review
    • Involvement with market research and coordination of new product development and testing
    • Overarching responsibility for continuity of NABS branding and messaging across new product implementation
    • Project budget management
  • Project management of the timeTo initiative, and represent NABS on the timeTo initiative’s steering committee
  • Represent the Services team at the Team Operations working group
  • Ensure team and individual objectives are in place and regularly reviewed in line with NABS Performance Management framework including clear development plans and regular supervisions
  • Ensure team are fully utilising the new NABS HR system as required and adopting new NABS policies to ensure fair and equitable ways of working
  • Ensure high standards of operations are in place across projects and result in good governance practices including but not limited to meeting of service standards including quality monitoring, safeguarding and confidentiality, GDPR

Additional Requirements Of Role

  • This role will require travel across London and on occasion, within the UK, on planned basis
  • Some weekend or late evening work will be required for supporting NABS events and during busy periods, particularly in the run up to large scale events. NABS will endeavour to offer time off in lieu in accordance with its policies

Skills & Experiences

  • Prince2 foundation and practitioner qualification
  • Ability to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility
  • Be able to select, lead and motivate your project team from both internal and external stakeholder organisations
  • Ability to create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Account management level with experience of working on integrated campaigns and/or projects
  • Self- starter, willing to use own initiative and make decisions under pressure
  • Evidence of excellent communication and interpersonal skills, client facing and internal
  • Ability to multi-task in a calm manner and good at collaboration and working in a cross-functional role
  • Data literate with good, solid understanding and working knowledge of databases and the use of data in marketing campaigns
  • Line management experience within a performance management framework
  • Good working knowledge of the advertising and media industry including its changing landscape and demonstrable understanding of the structure of agencies and media owners
  • A commitment to working within NABS stated values
