Tuesday Club Talk live screening: Diversity in action

Location: Manchester

Type: Tuesday Club Talks

Time: 6.15pm - 8.15pm

*Live screening from London

The debate has reached an inevitable conclusion: the virtues and necessities of diversity in our industry have been largely accepted by all parts of the industry.

Now is time to action the changes we need. Now we must find and implement the realistic and proven methods that create a more diverse workplace. And it’s not just the responsibility of those at the very top – we should all feel empowered to expect and create a more diverse culture in our organisations.

This panel talk will offer an opportunity to hear from the people at the front-line of action and change in our industry and celebrate the organisations and initiatives that are getting it right. The audience will go away with real ideas for success; ideas that are ready to be replicated, built upon and implemented in their companies.

By sharing our plans, actions and outcomes, we can collectively start to make progress and move from the realms of rhetoric to make genuine strides towards action.

We would like you to leave feeling empowered to not only embrace some of the thoughts and ideas shared in the room but to also go away feeling confident that you too have the power and influence to make a real tangible difference at every level – helping to create workplace cultures that celebrate uniqueness.

The Panel:

  • Karen Blackett OBE – Chairwoman, MediaCom
  • Melanie Eusebe (Chair)  – Executive Producer of WoW at the Southbank Centre, Chair of the Black British Business Awards
  • Suki Sandhu – Founder and CEO of Audeliss, OUTstanding and EMpower
  • Mark Creighton – Chief Operating Officer UK & Ireland, Dentsu Aegis Network
